This album was the fifth solo recording of No. 1 of the flamenco guitar of all time, Paco de Lucia (1947), first published in 1973, when Paco had was only 25, and reprinted in successive years. This versions is remastered in 2002. With this album Paco took the leap of his career and began the cycle of its huge international presence, which has led him to stardom enjoyed today. The content of this album has the quasi-impromptu rumba 'Entre dos aguas', close to the Cuban son and guaracha, the technical difficulty of 'Fuente y caudal, the piece's title track, 'deep, dark, sad and creepy, and the explosive dynamism of the bulería ' Cepa andaluza', in which despite its syncopated rhythm Paco establishes the truth for the future of the compass of twelve, the joy of 'Plaza de San Juan' and the beautiful classicism of 'Los pinares', a sense while modest tango flamenco.
