For a long time, I had the seeds to form my own group. This was done in 2011, the quartet SYNAESTHETIC TRIP was born with the release of a record and a tour in France and more than 20 concerts in Europe. Choosing very open to very different styles musicians was crucial and Jazz with a large 'J' was the unifying link. After four years, new horizons open s. The music always fueled by a limitless eclecticism (the melody, jazz, open form, contemporary music, Indian and African music and electronic music), is also facing fundamental styles of jazz, through all steps that have given rise to these subcategories jazz: New Orleans, Dixieland, blues, bebop, hard bop, free jazz, modern jazz.
- I wanted to make a record that falls within the continuity of the first. I think he inherits his openness, more rooted in modern jazz and looking cleared, but above all a popular jazz in the sense that can touch the listener, a universal disk that s' appropriates, which we never tire!
