Elizabeth - Ruggine (2010)

Ruggine è il CD d'esordio degli Elizabeth… si, proprio quelli di You are my light, il brano che ha accompagnato i maggiori eventi sportivi attraverso la campagna spot di Edison, la quale non si è limitata a questa collaborazione; ha fornito alla band i Certificati RECS ovvero l'acquisizione di un controvalore tale da compensare l'energia di un determinato arco temporale, incentivando in tal modo la produzione di energia pulita (come spiega in dettaglio l'allegato) in questo caso messo al servizio della registrazione dell'album Ruggine avvenuta all'Esagono Recording di Rubiera (RE)… sempre in quella terra di nebbia, zanzare di cui vi accennai sull'uscita del doppio singolo, con relativo doppio clip (You Are My Light & Piove Su Milano) che tante soddisfazioni ci ha regalato!
Ma è anche un territorio caratterizzato da sempre dal genere musicale più diffuso al mondo: quel rock sanguigno, semplice e diretto, che è l'ingrediente principale di questo grintoso esordio che percorre un terreno musicale con una fedeltà e complicata semplicità come non accadeva da tempo in Italia: senza fronzoli, pizzi, merletti e trucchi più o meno vistosi.
12 brani diretti, pieni, corposi e vivi; chitarre e tastiere bene accordati e basso & batteria che fanno il loro "sporco lavoro" nella sezione ritmica.
Testi che non scavano nel passato né strizzano l'occhio al futuro, ma guardano esclusivamente al presente, che già è un argomento d'immani proporzioni.
Una voce che non teme di osare e simbologie che non camuffano le origini ma le rendono ben palesi (vedi cover allegata)!
