This is one of the greatest recordings in jazz history, 'Time out', held in 1959 in New York by the quartet led by the great American pianist Dave Brubeck (California, 1920-2012). This album reached over a million and a half copies sold and accounted for the final consecration of Brubeck Quartet with a definitive work that laid the foundation for what would become jazz fusion, based on the use of beats and complex rhythms, subtly blended jazz styles that were common then, as 'cool' and 'West coast', creating both classical compositional structures with bright accompaniments. It is referenced in the top 100 jazz albums and appears on the website of the '1001 albums you must hear before you die'.Track list:
