Even in this day and age it is still difficult to buy music records solely devoted to this composer. We are no doubt aware that some of the renowed pianists of the 'old school' have played some works or another in concerts (or even for the record), but most often degraded these pieces to a "nice encore" or to a simple stopgap. And it is even more incomprehensible that today even a lot of American pianists (of all ages) have never before heard of this American composer. Long before Donna K.
