Hans Theessink is hailed as "A master of the blues guitar", described by Bo Diddley as "one helluva guitar player" and by the US 'Blues Revue' as "An international blues treasure". Since his first recording in 1970 he has released 20 albums, a songbook, a blues guitar instruction manual and a DVD. Hans Theessink has become one of the most sought-after artists of the international blues scene. He is more or less constantly "on tour" and plays an average of 200 concerts a year - a modern day troubadour and entertainer who keeps on spellbinding audiences all over the world with his rich and emotional sounds.
Now the new cd with Terry Evans. Both bluesmen have worked together in the past and for years had a vision of combining forces for a stripped down duo recording. In Dec 2007 they got together in L.A. to do just that. Within 2 days they recorded a soulful album of original songs and soul-blues classics. The album has an intimate feel and obviously they were having a great time making music together.
Both Hans and Terry have a reputation for superb recordings and VISIONS will once again delight even the most discerning hi-fi fan with a fantastic sonic experience.
