Little G Weevil's very first solo album was recorded between 2005 and 2008 in Memphis, TN, USA and God, Hungary, EU. Featured special guests are Charlie Wood on organ, Billy Gibson and Matt Pribojszki on blues harps. On these live studio sessions Little G is presenting his own numbers, backed by very energetic, smoking rhythm sections and solo artists. "This is an album that has been cut in the 'old school' style. Plenty of great blues players squeezed in a small room, creating soulful and honest music that happened to be recorded." Weevil says

"He somehow delivers intact the spirit and sound of Blues legends from 80 years ago….A new Blues star is here, he proves it."- Bob MargolinLittle G Weevil started out as a drummer and began playing the guitar at 17. He was introduced and captivated by the music scene through listening to legendary musicians such as John Lee Hooker, Lightnin' Hopkins, Albert Collins, B.B. King and Chuck Berry.“John Lee Hooker and his blues was for me, like my grandfather and the tales he use to tell. When I first heard the songs Hobo Blues and Never Get Out of These Blues Alive, I thought to myself, God, I am part of this, I feel it, I belong to this.” - says WeevilEver since he started his career he has focused solely on the music of the American South and this can be clearly heard in his compositions. Although he has never had formal guitar or vocal lessons he now performs worldwide. He established his own band in 1998. After years of touring mostly European countries he released his first single (Chump Change) in 2001 and his first album (One) with his European band Pure Blues in 2004 under the EU based label D&B.In the same year he moved to Memphis, TN where he received a long-term contract on the legendary Beale Street. He has performed on numerous occasions in Beale Street's famous Blues clubs and has made his debut tours in the USA on his own or as a side man of Soul Blues singer Louisiana Mojo Queen. His first solo recordings were also produced in Memphis in 2005.In 2007, Little G signed up with the Atlanta, GA based King Mojo Records. A year later he left the label for Apic Records and released his very first solo album, the critically acclaimed "Southern Experience".In 2009 Little G Weevil relocated to Kennesaw, GA where he has been based ever since. His second solo work "The Teaser" came out in January 2012. It quickly climbed blues music charts in the USA and Europe. Blues and general music media worldwide praised the album. It`s Top 10 Best Blues Album of the year by Mojo - the elite England based publication.A few months later Little G Weevil entered and won the Blues Foundation`s 2013 International Blues Challenge in the solo/duo category. He was also awarded as best guitarist in category.
