Bereits 1989 machten die DoRos, wie die legendären Musikvideo-Pioniere Rudi Dolezal und Hannes Rossacher in der Szene liebevoll genannt werden, das erste Video für Hans Theessink, nämlich für "Johnny and the Devil", das Album, das die Einleitung von Theessinks internationaler Karriere darstellen sollte. Also umso verständlicher, dass sie auch die erste Konzert-DVD des europäischen Bluesmeisters in allen Klassen als da wären Sänger, Komponist, Gitarrist, Dobrist, Mundharmonikaspieler, Texter, Bandleader, Soloperformer etc produzierten. Hier stellt er seine Lieblingsband vor, die bereits auf dem letzten Studioalbum "Bridges" und bei Tourneen ihre Qualität bewiesen haben. Für einige Stücke kommen noch die fabelhaften Sänger von "Insingizi" hinzu, die schon auf mehreren Theessink-Alben ihre afrikanischen Roots beisteuerten. Dass die Wiener "ihren" Hans lieben und ihn wie schon seit Jahrzehnten zur Höchstform auflaufen lassen, ist nun auch erstmals in Ton und Bild dokumentiert. Aber damit nicht genug neben dem üppigen Programm in Konzertlänge gibt es noch einen echten Nachschlag von 75 Minuten, der auch den anspruchvollsten Theessink-Fan in den siebten Himmel katapultieren sollte. Neben dem eingangs erwähnten Video sind da weitere, besonders schön das "Lazy, Long Hot Summers Day"-Video mit der Blue Groove-Besetzung, Interviews, Making Of und als besonderes Zuckerl sind Studiosessions mit Arlo Guthrie und Donovan zu sehen.

Back in 1989, the DoRos made as the legendary music video pioneers Rudi Dolezal and Hannes Rossacher in the scene affectionately be known, the first video for Hans Theessink, for "Johnny and the devil", the album, which should represent the introduction of drummachines international career namely. So all the more understandable, that they produced also the first concert DVD of the European Blues master in all classes as singer, composer, guitarist, Dobrist, harmonica player, lyricist, bandleader, Sol Opera former etc. Here, he introduces his favorite band, that have proved their quality already on their last album "Bridges" and on tour. For some pieces, even the fabulous singers of "Insingizi" is added which contributed to several Theessink albums their African roots. That let the Viennese love "their" Hans and run it as already for decades to the peak is now, for the first time documented in sound and image. But this not enough next to the lush programme full-length concert there still a real second helping of 75 minutes should catapult also the demanding Theessink fan in the seventh heaven.
