After his lesson on jazz Jobim and the second lesson dedicated to Wayne Shorter, one discovers the talent Hervé explain the ins as a piece of Wayne Shorter, to fill the appetite of enthusiasts insiders than deviate by example to dissect what a binary or ternary blues or funk to a wide audience.

This lesson focuses on jazz explanations, embellished with anecdotes, by Antoine Hervé - storyteller, entertainer curious sheller nuanced connoisseur - and an incredibly talented duo with soprano Jean-Charles Richard. The lesson takes place at different angles: the public studious follows the hands of the pianist, viewed from above and projected on a screen, listening to the duo played thirteen major compositions starting from Shorter "Speak No Evil" to "Face On The barrom Floor ". Then he regales interventions Hervé Shorter narrates the character - its mysticism, its interiority and fullness guru, his taste for science fiction dramas - while addressing the soprano instrumental technique with the help of Richard.
With humor and jest, Hervé gives us many tricks to do battle with the music that is complex and sophisticated jazz … making us laugh and bringing us often that we all know.

One of the greatest saxophonists of modern jazz still active, Wayne Shorter is also a composer outsized. All of her creations are guided by a constant and unwavering: to write only the notes and chords "heard", that is to say, guided by his ear, his intimate choice, not a system, syntax or any dogma. For this second DVD of lesson Jazz, Antoine Hervé tells the story behind his piano of this musical genius and intuitive and gives us some keys to his most famous compositions. He is accompanied on stage by saxophonist Jean Charles Richard, one of the masters of French soprano saxophone.
