The Salsoul Orchestra have left an enduring legacy on dance floors and in discerning music lover’s homes across the world for over forty years and counting. At times comprising of over fifty members the orchestra had exceptional producers and arrangers such as Vincent Montana, Jr., Tom Moulton, Bunny Sigler, Ron Tyson, Ron Baker and Patrick Adams at the helm. This newly remastered, comprehensive Groove Line Records anthology features all of the group’s classic recordings including Salsoul Hustle, Chicago Bus Stop (Ooh, I Love It), You're Just The Right Size, Nice 'N' Naasty, It Don't Have To Be Funky (To Be A Groove), Runaway (feat Loleatta Holloway), How High, and Take Some Time Out (For Love). The Salsoul Orchestra Story: 40th Anniversary Collection also houses a bonus third disc of remixes and re-edits from the likes of Walter Gibbons, Larry Levan, Shep Pettibone and Danny Krivit plus exclusive new remixes from Mike Maurro and Tom Moulton.
