Trevor Pinnock has a unique rapport with audiences the world over as director of The English Concert, as guest conductor of many of the world's leading orchestras and as a harpsichord soloist of international distinction.
Having received his musical education as a chorister at Canterbury Cathedral and a scholar at the Royal College of Music, Trevor Pinnock formed The English Concert in 1973; since then they have earned a worldwide reputation for their many recordings of 17th and 18th Century music, but most importantly have won a huge international following for the exceptional quality and the irresistible enthusiasm of their concert performances.

The international orchestras with whom Trevor Pinncok has appeared recently include the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra, NACO (Ottawa), Mozarteum Orchestra, the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie and the Vienna Philharmonic. Trevor Pinnock will also be appearing throughout Europe in duo recitals with the violinist Maxim Vengerov.

Firmly established as one of the world's leading harpsichord virtuosi, Trevor Pinnock's solo recordings include Scarlatti sonatas, Handel's harpsichord suites and Bach's Goldberg Variations and complete Partitas. As a soloist he has recorded the Bach harpsichord concerti and the Haydn Piano Concerto directing The English Concert and the Poulenc Harpsichord Concerto with Seiji Ozawa and the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
