Junction Seven is Steve Winwood's seventh original solo album and was released in June 1997. This album was produced by Narada Michael Walden, whilst Winwood's wife Eugenia contributed to the writing of several songs. Des'ree provided vocals on 'Plenty Lovin'. The cover version of Sly and the Family Stone's 'Family Affair' is performed very effectively by Winwood, whilst the slower songs (Angel of Mercy, Real love, Someone Like You) are reminiscent of the ballad style in some of his earlier albums.
