The debut studio album from Hootie & The Blowfish and their most commercially successful. It was the highest-selling album of 1995, with 10.5 million shipments that year alone, eventually shipping 16 million copies to retailers by March 31, 1999. RIAA sales of April 2010 19× platinum, for the fifteenth best selling album of all time in the United States. Hootie & The Blowfish won the 1996 Grammy Award for Best New Artist, and "Let Her Cry" won the Grammy for Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal.
