This band has an attitude - a BLUES ATTITUDE.Hailing from Olympia Washington, BLUES ATTITUDE perform a raucous, style of blues that combines traditional blues, classic rock and new country resulting in an highly entertaining and very danceable style that goes afar from the typical “blues-rock” sound. BLUES ATTITUDE has been hosting a weekly blues jam in Olympia for over 3 years as well as performing throughout the south sound area.This debut CD from Blues Attitude shows their fun lovin' way with a lyric and their ability to knock out a solid groove! Show Time Groove has songs which cover everything from love lost in Long Distance Call to just hangin' out with family and friends in the Burger Song to just plain fooling around in Pop's Blues. Show Time Groove provides a look at how Blues Attitude can provide new arrangements to classic cover tunes like Paul Butterfeild's Born in Chicago or Norton Buffalo's Iz This Love.JB Bentley plays guitar in a style ranging from driving Texas blues to Deep South delta slide. T-Bone on vocals & bass and his highly melodic approach to the bass takes the band beyond the sounds of your typical power trio. Smoke on drums provides tight fat grooves and tasty licks propel the band into overdrive. Add their summertime fourth Stan "the Man" Foreman and sound just grooves.If you like Freddie King, Albert Collins, Eric Clapton and John Fogerty you are gonna like these guys.

BIOGRAPHY:This band has an attitude……..a BLUES ATTITUDE. Hailing from the great Northwest, BLUES ATTITUDE performs a raucous, style of blues that combines traditional blues, classic rock and new country resulting in an highly entertaining and very danceable style that goes afar from the typical "blues-rock" sound. BLUES ATTITUDE has been hosting a weekly blues jam at Charlie's in Olympia every Wednesday for 9 years and a blues jam at the Junction in Grand Mound every Thursday (May-Nov.) for over 6 years as well performing up and down the west coast.BLUES ATTITUDE features: Jerry Bentley on vocals & guitar. JB plays guitar in a style ranging from driving Texas blues to Deep South delta slide. T-Bone on vocals & bass with his highly melodic approach to the bass takes the band beyond the sounds of your typical power trio. Smoke on drums is a veteran of both The Steamers and his own project the Smoke N Blues All-stars. Locked down tight, Smoke’s fat grooves and tasty licks propel the band into overdrive. BLUES ATTITUDE will on occasion be heard featuring Mike "Harddrive" Shea on Sax and Clarinet. Mike is great addition to the bands performance.BLUES ATTITUDE has played at a number of great clubs and festivals all across Washington and up and down the west coast: Taste of Tacoma, Bite of Seattle, Garlic Festival, Backyard Blues Bash, West Port Blues Fest, Soap Lake Lava Run, Port of Olympia Harbor Days, Music in the Park a lot more.
This is a band of brothers ( in spirit ) who play music that they really love which is a variation on the traditional themes and their own take on The Blues which fuses Rock, Jack Swing, Funk, Country Rock, Ballads and get down, low-down dirty old Blues! With their blazing guitars and bass, T-bone and Jerry set the stage on fire from measure one, but it is drummer and total meter master " Smoke " who lays down the ground rules and sets the pace that you could set an atomic clock to. He plays subtle as a whisper when he want to but then turns around and hits you like a freight train when the cross-arms are broken! Every successful band I have ever loved has had a drummer who never really cared to show off and besides, he was way too busy building the foundation so the other cats could wiggle and pose without breaking the stage!Seriously, this is a real band. A group of guys who play Blues influenced music not because they have to, but because the want to and they feel it with every heartbeat. They boogie, then they rock and then maybe they take you down, way down. But not for long because they've got a mission to fulfill and that's to rock the house, get it jumping and fill up the dance floor! No one that goes to a Blues Attitude concert, show or club appearance ever comes away with a bad vibe. No, this is the night to " lose the blues " and this is the band that takes you away from whatever you've been through today. Not since a recent opportunity I experienced standing back stage with the one and only ZZ TOP at the Hard Rock in Vegas have I actually heard three guys sound so freakin' tight! Blues Attitude does their homework and is always prepared to give the their best. I highly recommend this Blues band to anyone looking for a great time.
