Computer Gaming World Magazine (Issues 1-100)
ENG | PDF | 1981-2006 | 2.82GB

CGW was one of the world's longest running computer gaming magazines, beginning in 1981 and sadly closing down in 2006. It was an industry shaping publication. Over the course of the magazine's run they looked at the most basic text parsing adventures, the dawn of advanced 2D, the beginning of 3D, and ended in the era of Unreal Tournament III and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Their editors were instrumental in forming some of the first computer game conventions for game developers and companies, as part of their dream of popularizing all electronic gaming.
The first 100 issues cover all of the popular '80s and early '90s genres running on everything from old home computers, IBM PCs, Amigas, and Apples and Macs. These extremely high quality PDF files were created by the curator of the CGW Museum. A huge thanks goes out to him for going through the incredible amount of work to produce these.
Each issue is in its own PDF file, individually 7zipped. Indexes are included for easy navigation.
