From the heyday of Svyatoslav Richter, all the concertos recorded by DG from 1958 to 62 were assembled into 3 pieces (except Disc 3, these are 1st time on SACD). Features the works by Robert Schumann, W.A. Mozart, Sergey Prokofiev, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Sergei Rachmaninov & P.I. Tchaikovsky. This is a Sviatoslav Richter's special collaboration with Wittold Lovitki, Kurt Sanderling, Herbert von Karajan, Warsaw National Philharmonic Orchestra, Vienna Symphony Orchestra, etc. Features the new mastering from the original analogue master tapes.

From the age of 43 to 46, Richter has gathered all three concertos recorded on the DG label during the middle of the season. Except DISC3 Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov, it is the world's first SA-CD. Neither of these two songs has been on the market for a while on SA-CD, and they have not been marketed by Universal.
Richter, who was known as a phantom pianist and rarely performed in the West, recorded a picture of an exhibition in Sofia, Bulgaria in February 1958, which was released on the West as a record. The real name will be earned worldwide. In 1958, the 1st Tchaikovsky Competition was held and Richter participated as a judge. The influence was growing more and more, such as acclaiming Cliburn. DG, who had already recorded Schumann's solo work in November 1956, finally started recording a concerto in October 1958 with the DG staff getting into Warsaw. The first recording was Schumann, the first song of DISC1. In April of the following year, four songs were recorded together, including Mozart, Prokofiev, and Rachmaninoff, and the evaluation of Richel was fixed. Among them, Richel (piano sonata No. 7 premiere), who had a close relationship with Prokofiev, was especially loved by No. 5 (recorded in the former EMI with Masere in 1970), and it is also evaluated that there is still no performance beyond this The second record of Rachmaninov, an absolute masterpiece, became a recording that will remain in history.
