The second LP of Sweeney's Men and the last one … but what happened? A very promising and short-lived.
Without being an expert on the subject (I'm a fan- listener- passionate), I hear this issue called "The Tracks of Sweeney" and I find a set of country-folk, with all the style of many American folk groups. .. !?
That's, they lost all the strength of its beginning, the beautiful traditional pieces of irish-folk.
A detail (and what detail, Lord!), Andy Irvine, abandoned the project in its music search, moving to Romania.
Then, being magnanimous, Andy Irvine was Sweeney's Men. The rest is history again: Andy Irvine and Christy Moore founded together with its historical and flagship project "Planxty." Because Christy Moore isn't Planxty, and in turn, Andy Irvine isn't Planxty.
Do things right?
Finally, with houtch60 (owner of this LP) agreed to the weakness of this work, both vocal and instrumental.
Anyway, it's essential disc, then, is part of the story of the incredible irish-folk.

Spanish.
Entonces, siendo magnánimo, Andy Irvine era Sweeney's Men.
Qué cosas ¿no?
