Lassigue Bendthaus – Cloned (1992) (24/96 Vinyl Rip)

A record from the happy times of early Techno, but with lots of confusion around it. Confusion about the name of the artist, about the tracks on the record, and even about the musical style.
Lassigue Bendthaus is the electro-industrial project of Uwe Schmidt, he has used more then 60 aliases over the years. One of them is Señor Coconut, that he invented when moving to Chile in 1997, reworking classic Kraftwerk hits in a Latin Electronic style.
The tracks on 'Cloned' have different names or durations than those listed on Discogs for the CD issues – erratic covers? different tracks? edited versions? If you have the CD and can compare them, please let us know what we have here.
People can't even agree on the style and genre of Mr. Schmidt's effort, these are the descriptions I've found: Electronic, Electro-Industrial, Industrial, Experimental, EBM, Techno, Electro, Berlin-School, Power Electronics, Dark Ambient, IDM, Drum & Bass.

Forthright, caustic hardcore techno mixed with some of Schmidt's more thoughtful filigrees. Still eminently listenable, much of the album concerns itself with scuzzy, almost industrial breaks and four-floor material.

One of Uwe Schmidt's many pseudonyms, Lassigue Bendthaus is the prolific and experimental artist's electro-industrial project. Parade Amoureuse released the first Lassigue Bendthaus release, Matter (later released in America by Metropolis). Next, Schmidt moved his Lassigue Bendthaus project to the Contempo label, resulting in the release of Cloned (1992), an album exploiting the concept of sampling. Cloned:Binary accompanied the album, this collection being a disassembled version of Cloned consisting of a ridiculous number of samples that Schmidt wanted his listeners to rework. The final Lassigue Bendthaus releases, Render and Render Audible, came in 1994 on the KK label. By this time, Schmidt's Atom Heart project had become exceptionally successful, demanding much of his attention and effort.
