"Les Calchakis - Disque d'Or" Hmmm, this LP is very comprehensive in the selection of instrumental pieces. With my old acquaintances, we've a good "catch" different editions. Namely:
LP recording, master Enrico's responsibility. A second mastering to me.
Several things, good Deivo sent me another recording from the Mexican edition of the LP in question. Interestingly replaced by another track, the track number 6, "antepenultimate" replaced by a beautiful rendition of "El Condor Pasa." I can't say if it is an unreleased version or taken from another LP. We decided unanimously to include this track as a bonus (bonus track, will tell the anglo-speaking, it isn't our case).
And I talked about issues of individual countries that are … Different! What? you might ask, with morbid curiosity. For this issue we meet no more and no less than 6 different covers! (I suspect that's Calchakis are slightly familiar). And how are they different? You insist on a impatient and tell them to calm anxiety: the first french edition is double Arion, a marvel, with illustrations by Tito Miranda (Ah! Excellent illustrator, this is as a separate issue). Arion subsequent editions of the rest of Europe, kept the dull design of 3 bands of color and photo, plus the volume number. The original volume is the "3", but Spain is 4, in Argentina is the 2 and 3 is retained Mexico. Of course, this is a big problem when wanting to buy this or that noble volume of this set. Ideally, not to be missed is guided by the title of the volume. In this case some call "The Indian flutes"!? (Are they from the east? Heh, heh, heeeh) and additional "Buscando el alma americana (Searching for the American soul)." In this case I decided to keep the Volume 3 and the title "Searching for the American soul" in my edition as the audio CD and its cover, this is an exclusive edition is aimed at all the forums of goodwill.

"Los Calchakis - Disque d'Or" Humm, este LP es muy completo en cuanto a la selección de las piezas instrumentales. Con mis viejos conocidos, hemos hecho una muy buena "pesca" de distintas ediciones. A saber:
La grabación de LP, responsabilidad del maestro Enrico. Una segunda masterización a mi cargo.
Cosas varias, el buen Deivo me hizo llegar otra grabación proveniente de la edición mejicana del LP en cuestión. Curiosamente se reemplaza una pista por otra: la pista número 6, "La esdrújula" reemplazada por una muy bonita versión de "El cóndor pasa". No puedo asegurar si es una versión inédita o tomada de otro LP. Decidimos en forma unánime incluir esta pista como un bono (bonus track, le dirán los anglo-parlantes, que no es nuestro caso).
Y más, he hablado acerca de las ediciones de los distintos paises que son… ¡distintas! ¿En qué? se preguntarán ustedes, con morbosa curiosidad. Para esta entrega logramos reunir nada más y nada menos que ¡6 portadas diferentes! (intuyo que Los Calchakís, son levemente conocidos). ¿Y en qué son distintas? Uds. insistirán en forma majadera e impaciente y les respondo, para calmar la ansiedad: la primera edición Arion francesa es doble, una auténtica maravilla, con ilustraciones de Tito Miranda (¡Ah! Excelente ilustrador, esto es como para un tema aparte). Las ediciones posteriores Arion del resto de Europa, conservan el aburrido diseño de 3 franjas de color y la foto, más el número del volumen. El volumen original es el "3", pero en España es el 4, en Argentina es el 2 y en México se conserva el 3. Por supuesto, esto es un gran problema al momento de querer adquirir tal o cual volumen de este noble conjunto. Lo ideal, para no perderse es guiarse por el título del volumen. En este caso unos lo llaman "Las flautas indias" ¿¡!? (¿serán del oriente? je, je, jeee) y en otros "Buscando el alma Americana". Para este caso decidí conservar el Volumen 3 y el título "Buscando el alma Americana" en mi edición para CD en cuanto al audio y sus portadas, esta es una edición exclusiva destinada a todos los foros de buena voluntad.
