As the need for proficient power resources continues to grow, it is becoming increasingly important to implement new strategies and technologies in energy distribution to meet consumption needs. The employment of smart grid networks assists in the efficient allocation of energy resources.

Smart Grid as a Solution for Renewable and Efficient Energy features emergent research and trends in energy consumption and management, as well as communication techniques utilized to monitor power transmission and usage. Emphasizing developments and challenges occurring in the field, this book is a critical resource for researchers and students concerned with signal processing, power demand management, energy storage procedures, and control techniques within smart grid networks.

Ayaz Ahmad obtained his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan in 2006. In 2008, he received Master degree in Wireless Communication Systems from Ecole Superieure d'Electricite (Supelec), Gif-sur-Yvette, France. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Telecommunication from Supelec, France in 2011. Since June 2012, he is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Wah Campus, Pakistan. He has published several research papers in various refereed international journals and conferences. He has also published three book chapters. He is regularly serving as TPC member for several international conferences. His research interests include resource allocation in wireless communication systems, and energy management in smart grid.
