Hands On DarkBASIC Pro, Volume 1: A Self-Study Guide to Games Programming By Alistair Stewart
2005 | 738 Pages | ISBN: 1874107084 | PDF | 11 MB

This book is taken on the view of a beginner who has never programmed before but is still useful for programmers new to the language. The book will teach you all the ground basics needed but don’t expect it to teach you to make doom 3. It starts with very basic games and lets you play around with them and make them grow. With all the basic covered you can then make any 2d game you want. What about 3d well there is a second volume book that goes in to that but it will be useless without a basic understanding from this book. There reason for the second book is the first is only 750 page that again and it would be a yellow pages. It is not a light book in the first place. Great for learners who want to make there own games.
