Patricia Bradley "A Promise to Protect: A Novel (Logan Point)"
Revell | English | October 7, 2014 | ISBN: 0800722817 | 336 pages | azw, epub, lrf, mobi | 4,02 mb

Patricia Bradley's novel, A Promise to Protect starts with action that holds the reader until the very last chapter. This book is filled with romance, loss, rejection, murder, arson, tenderness, and forgiveness. If I had to choose one theme for this book it would be forgiveness. Bradley skillfully weaves a high school romance gone bad into a modern day success story. Like real life today, not everything ends with happily-ever-after, but the characters in Bradley's novel are believable and intriguing. I found myself rooting for the characters in several different scenarios throughout the book. The story of God's ever faithful forgiveness is interwoven throughout the pages. The simplicity of God's forgiveness is easy to understand, but often hard to accept. Leigh and Ben learn this the hard way, but eventually both learn to forgive themselves and each other.

This book is a great read and I highly recommend it. I will definitely be looking for more books by Patrica Bradley.
