Learn how to apply professional reverb techniques in your mixes with Valhalla reverb Reverbs are essential tools for creating depth and space in the mix. ValhallaDSP has created some of the best and affordable reverb plugins on the market. Learn how to use ValhallaPlate, ValhallaRoom and Valhalla VintageVerb and apply professional reverb techniques in your mixes.
What you’re going to Learn
On this course we’ll take through the basics of reverbs to the advanced techniques of creating depth in your mixes using the excellent ValhallaDSP plugins.
We’ll start with basics of reverbs, explaining strategies of reverb in the mix, how to create a natural sounding mix, and proper signal flow techniques.
We will look at how to create depth, using small and medium rooms and plates to create the front of the mix creating a “relatedness” among elements — and and how to use large rooms, halls and big plates to create the back of the mix for extra depth.

You will learn differences between plates, rooms, chambers and emulations of vintage reverb units, pros and cons of using reverb presets vs. creating your own — and how to strike the balance between reverb preset and reverb tweaking.
All the techniques shown in the video are applicable to any DAW and most other reverb plugins (Plate, Vintage/Lexicon emulations, Room/Hall reverbs).
