Morane-Saulnier Types N,I,V (Repost)

Morane-Saulnier Types N,I,V (Windsock Datafile 58) By J. M. Bruce
Publisher: Albatros Productions Ltd 1996 | 40 Pages | ISBN: 0948414766 | PDF | 34 MB

The appeal of the petite, well-proportioned Morane-Saulnier Type N with modellers over the years is not difficult to fathom, although its overall performance and effectiveness as a combat aeroplane was not as impressive as its racy and purposeful appearance would suggest. Nevertheless the type and its close derivatives the 1 and V (also featured within these pages) deserves its place in any collection of WW1 aviation studies claiming to be representative. Jack Bruce studiously relates the fascinating wartime history of the Moranes in his own inimitable way, as well as providing a rich pictorial record which coupled with Ian Stair's trio of scale plans provides the first in-depth monograph of the Morane 'Bullets' to appear in print.
