Transformative Entrepreneurs: How Walt Disney, Steve Jobs, Muhammad Yunus, and Other Innovators Succeeded

Jeffrey A. Harris "Transformative Entrepreneurs: How Walt Disney, Steve Jobs, Muhammad Yunus, and Other Innovators Succeeded"
Palgrave Macmillan | English | January 17, 2012 | ISBN: 0230340261 | 224 pages | azw, epub, lrf, mobi | 3,1 mb

I had the pleasure of reading Harris's book this past month for an entrepreneurship class at Virginia Tech. I initially was not looking forward to more work as I approached finals, but this book was FANTASTIC. I read it cover to cover in one evening simply because it was that good. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to go into business, or who has a passion for learning more about US History. Thank you Jeffery Harris for a fantastic book that is in itself transformative.

Jeffrey Harris earned his knowledge of entrepreneurs the hard way, in the trenches as a winning venture capitalist whose experience spans the IT and Energy sectors. He knows how to evaluate managerial leadership and how rare it is for the wannabes to succeed in building great companies from the ground up. This magisterial account of an extraordinarily diverse set of extraordinarily successful founder/operators is a tour de force. It is required reading for all who want to understand the central dynamic of business evolution and economic growth.
