The TBM 3 "AVENGER" is a single engine, midwingT all metal monoplane of scmi-monocoque construction. Jt is designed as a torpedo bomber for carrier or land based operation.
The crew consists of three members, pilot, turret gunner who is also the radioman and a bombardier who is also the radar operator.
