Hi we’re Diversity and this is Dance. Fitness. Fusion.
We’ve taken influences from the many styles of street dance we’ve learned along the way and applied them to create the ultimate Diversity DVD!
This double-disc DVD contains two different programmes.
The first focuses on fitness with a dance inspired workout designed to get you fit the Diversity way. You can have fun with us, get an insight into different styles of street dance, learn how we put our routines together and get fit all at the same time!
The second programme gives you something special, a direct link into the world of Diversity. An exclusive routine from our tour which we’re gonna break down just for you and show you how it's put together step by step. A Diversity masterclass in your own living room!
So put on your dancing shoes and step straight into our world.
The only other dance DVD I have ever tried to follow was dance the S Club Way when I was 13 and I found it hard to follow mainly because I was trying to do everything the opposite way around because they face you and because the choreographers didn't explain very well. Diversity's is so much easier to follow. There are two disks; disk one - the workout and disk two - the tour routine.
Disk one is brilliant. Ashley, Warren and Ian take you through everything. Its the same format; they are still facing you but the camera shots and explanations make so much sense and what looks extremely difficult even on the Easy mode is simple once its broken down for you. Even my mum can do it and we've had a laugh learning the routines. It's broken up into sections which you learn and then right at the end you can put all the sections together to make one epic fitness routine. My favourites are 'Fast and Slow' and 'Funky Fusion'. Don't expect to jump straight into the workout because you need to learn the routine first at your own pace, but once you've got it down the workouts are nackering but so fun. And you actually remember it the next time you come back so you can do a quick refresher tutorial if need be and jump straight back into it.
Being a bit amateur I've only tried the Easy routines so far but once you have learned and are confident with Easy, the Hard routines combine what you've already learnt with new moves, which is clever because you can progress upwards at your own pace. The Diversity routine on the second disk is really fun. Its cool to try out their moves in my living room. and theres no pressure so you just learn it at your pace.
Hats off to these guys, they really thought this one through. If you want to have a lot of fun, be challenged and work out then I would recommend this DVD. Its difficult but so rewarding once you can do it.
