This is not a trick and performance DVD. The explanations are concise and to the point. Super practice sessions with over the shoulder angles and music for all the content in the DVD. This DVD is an exploration of what is possible with a deck of cards.

My Review about Liberation of the fingers
Quality and Editing. Although this is not a professionally produced DVD the quality is fine. Sometimes your hear a little swishing in the sound but all in all everything is clear. In my opinion the video quality on DVDs is overrated anyway. It’s the content that counts.

Menu. The menu background shows different photographs of Chad. The menu itself has a background music which fits with the style of the DVD.
There are five points in the menu. Number one is Chapters which if you open it shows another five menu points, that being Controls, Flourishes, Productions, Doubles and Sundry. The second menu point is Effects in which all the effects are listed. The third menu point is essentially just the Trailer.
The fourth one is called Insight Film which is a short film about what magic means to Chad. The last point are the Credits. The menu itself is decently designed and neatly arranged.

Teaching. After performing each move or effect, Chad goes over the mechanics of each item. What I like about his teaching style is that it’s not boring to watch. It’s straight to the point. Although I personally like this teaching style, it may not be the best for a beginner. After explaining it from a front view. You can also watch the whole explanation from an Over the Shoulder View.

Overall. As you may have already noticed this a sleight intensive DVD. If you’re a move monkey I definitely recommend to order this DVD. If you like to work on ideas I also recommend this DVD.
I personally think the price is definitely worth the DVD since useful tools are taught in there that have a high degree of utility. Although some people really criticized this DVD, trust me when I say that you won’t be disappointed.
