You will need:
• Glue (to glue yarn to the wire (tail))
• Sewing thread of matching colors for tightening.
• Sewing needle.
• Stuffing: hollofiber or padding polyester.
• Eye shadows, acrylic paint or pencils for tinting (optional).

Additionally for sphinx approx. 30 cm high:
• Hook 1.5-1.75 mm (US steel hook – 8 - 6, UK steel hook - 4 ½ - 3 ½)
• Wool – 200 g (Sport). Approx. 330 m per 100 g skein).
• Glass Marbles with one flat side (see TIP glass marbles)– 2 pieces, diameter 3.5-4 cm.
• 300 cm of 2 mm diameter copper single-core wire (see TIP Wire).

For sphinx approx. 20 cm high:
• Hook 1-1.25 mm. (US steel hook – 12 or 10, UK steel hook - 6 ½ or 5 ½)
• Wool – 100-150 g (Light Fingering. Approx. 500 m per 100 g skein).
• Glass marbles for eyes (see TIP glass marbles)– 2 pieces, diameter 1.5-2 cm.
• 200 cm of 2 mm diameter copper single-core wire (see TIP Wire).
