Thank you for honouring us with your patronage. Why ‘Magic’? It’s simple. Food and the smells of the kitchen can work magic. One can be instantly transported to a time and place where memories are so vivid you can taste them. Maybe it’s the smell of cookies in your mother’s kitchen. Maybe it’s the taste of your grandmother’s fresh baked bread. Or maybe it was the ‘Top Secret’ marinade your uncle used on his BBQ that can still make you salivate. These memories are what our magical recipes are trying to capture.
For years we have promised ourselves that we would make a cookbook. Usually, these threats were made after the first bites of one of these fabulous recipes. Now is the time for us to follow through and share them with you.
What you will find here is a compilation of Big Daddy Mac’s Magical family favourites that have been a part of our lives from childhood to adulthood. We have prepared and cooked these recipes in the many different countries and on the five different continents where we have been fortunate enough to live.
All are easy. But all are delicious. All will build magical memories for you and your family and friends.
