Ruin (Songs of Corruption Book 2)

CD Reiss "Ruin (Songs of Corruption Book 2)"
CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform | English | October 14, 2014 | ISBN: 1502721759 | 344 pages | azw, epub, lrf, mobi | 3,4 mb

CD Reiss is effing genius. Ruin is not 344 pages of a book, it's a 344 page experience. You can read a good book with just your eyes but Ruin is not that kind of book. You read this book with all of your senses. The language is so rich and descriptive that you can even hear and smell the things Reiss is describing. This is not some light weight erotic romance for bored housewives (though I love those too), no. This is a bad ass novel for grown ass women and men are invited to the party too.

I love that there is no moral high ground to be found in Ruin. There are just people doing what they need to do to survive and screwing without apology. Angst is ok but audacity is more fun and this book is full of audacity. Listen, if you're going to be all judgy and "people shouldn't hurt other peopleish," you don't have any business even reading this book. If you're looking to just get wild and delve into something intriguing, hot and fast, Ruin is for you. You're welcome.
