Baby, It's Cold Outside

BABY IT’S COLD OUTSIDE, but it is HOT, HOT, HOT inside the pages of this awesome anthology written by some of my favorite authors! Reading this book was an early Christmas present. Each story (there are five of them) was as good as the last one, and all of them were excellent. The stories are all stand-alone, but some are based on previous series, so it’s like catching up and visiting with old friends. This is a book that you want to snuggle in with an afghan on the couch and your favorite drink and just get lost. It puts you in a holiday mood and makes you want to go to the attic and get out the Christmas decorations. Bring on the tinsel! The stories are fun, steamy, sexy and romantic. I love collections like this, because you can read a story, put it down and come back later to read another one. You don’t feel rushed to finish the book, or get to the next chapter. I like to take a break between each one, anyway. I like to think about a book after I read it. With this particular book, I had a hard time taking a break; I was so anxious to read the next one.

The best thing about this collection is that you get the opportunity to sample some truly great authors. If you haven’t read them before, you are in for a treat! You will also be looking for more of their books to read in the future. I truly believe that even the Grinch would be filled with holiday spirit after reading BABY, IT’S COLD OUTSIDE. I highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed.
