is a five-part miniseries from Radical Publishing that's a completely new take on the demigod of Greek mythology. Following the events that occurred in "Hercules: The Thracian Wars", the first miniseries from Radical, Hercules and his band of Greek mercenaries are traveling across the Mediterranean sea, bound for the port of Piramesse in the Nile delta, with hopes of then moving on to Memphis to seek work as mercenaries. Instead, events made them doing such work in Egypt, for the Pharoah Seti the Second. Writer Steve Moore manages a really interesting mixing and juxtaposition of both Greek and Egyptian cultures and mythology. His interpretation of the Hercules myth in combo with Egyptian history work to great effect, especially helped by the spectacular paint-like artwork.
The untold tales of Hercules continue as he returns to the battlefield to face the army of Amenmessu! The odds are always in his favor, but even if the Son of Zeus wins the battle, the mysterious cult of the Knives of Kush will not go quietly. Who are the cultist spies in Seti’s palace? What is the secret behind the Knives of Kush? To divine the answers, Hercules and his companions must face their most formidable foe yet: Khadis, Lord of Lightning! --
