is a six-issue limited series and sequel to the 2007 limited series . It is written by Jeff Katz and James Kuhoric, with art by Jason Craig and will be published by Wildstorm (DC Comics) and Dynamite Entertainment. Freddy Krueger vs. Jason Voorhees is such a winning combination, it's surprising it took Hollywood as long as it did to get that ball rolling. Wildstorm and Dynamite took the equation one step further by tossing Ashley Williams of the Evil Dead movies in for good measure. And while Hollywood may never be smart enough to jump on that ball, at least we have the comics to provide some campy horror entertainment. 2007’s Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash was based on the script to a movie that would have tied together the “Freddy Vs. Jason” movie and the “Evil Dead” trilogy (and that alone should be enough to excite, well… anyone), and “Nightmare Warriors” co-writer and comics/movie veteran Jeff Katz provided the script treatment for that original Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash story. Issue #1 has 3 covers.
Zombies, Deadites, and demons – oh my! The army of the dead is loose in Washington, D.C. and no one is safe from their rampage. As the capital city burns, Freddy Krueger’s devious plan starts to come together. No longer is he limited to the kids from Springwood or Crystal Lake. Now the world is his Elm Street, and the streets will flow with blood. Jason Voorhees leads the dead in the sacking of D.C. that cuts down everyone from shoppers to senators. Things are looking grim for Ash’s Nightmare Warriors as Tommy Jarvis and Jacob Johnson are taken captive, leaving a depleted group to figure out how to stop the storm of slaughter taking place in the streets. Pulled into Freddy’s nightmare, they are given an ultimatum: “Bring the Necronomicon to me or I’ll gut your friends while you watch.” It’s all-out Armageddon in the White House when Freddy takes his place on the highest seat in the land…the Oval Office.Co-published with Dynamite Entertainment. --
