Deadpool: Merc With A Mouth #1-7 (Ongoing) Update
Eng | RS & Hotfile | 7 CBR | Marvel Comics | Release Dates Jul 1 2009 - Jan 20 2010 | 152 MB Total

A disfigured, mentally unstable mercenary who started as a supervillain but gained cult popularity because of the character's peculiar balance of angst and pop culture slapstick blended with an almost non-stop stream of irreverent asides that have the tendency to break the fourth wall (the fourth wall is the boundary between the fictional setting and the audience; when this is "broken", i.e., the character directly speaks to the audience or readers; this means that he or she is aware of his standing in the story vis-a-vis the readers). Hence, "The Merc with the Mouth." This is the initial six-part story arc entitled, "Head Trips" and a double-sized issue #7 with Deadpool roughing and tumbling through several alternate realities. Sort of like breaking through the fourth wall in a tesseract...
“HEAD TRIP,” Part 1 of 6 It’s the Merc with two mouths! Deadpool travels to the Savage Land to retrieve what might be the deadliest bio-weapon the universe has ever seen. What is this deadly object? Well, Deadpool's employer is being a little vague about that. Let’s just say when the secret is finally revealed, it's enough to throw even the Merc with two Mouths for a loop…Oh hell, we can’t keep a secret, it’s the severed-but-still-hungry head of the Marvel Zombies Deadpool! To save the universe, Deadpool must team up with himself to dodge Hydra operatives, dinosaurs, cavemen and zombie cavemen as he attempts to take his not-so-precious cargo back where it came from: the Marvel Zombies Universe. Plus, a bonus reprinting of the original DEADPOOL #4! -- 'ARE YOU THERE, DEADPOOL? IT'S ME DEADPOOL.' Special double-sized issue with art by ROB LIEFELD, KYLE BAKER, DAS PASTORAS and regular series artist BONG DAZO. What do you do with a homesick zombie head? Take it back to the zombie universe, of course! Hopping through an interdimensional portal in the Florida swamp with Headpool tucked under his arm, Deadpool soon finds himself bouncing through a series of outlandish alternate realities, each more warped than the last. Wade Wilson, say hello to Major Deadpool, the Deadpool Kid and--va-va-voom--Lady Deadpool. --
