+ Azrael Vol. 2 Issues #1-2

Fabian Nicieza and Ramon Bach's Azrael takes its brooding anti-hero and has him make some difficult moral decisions without ever pushing him too far into the tired category of urban vigilantes willing to kill in order to clean up the streets. Batman is featured in issue #4. I've said in the first issue that DC Comics' relatively new monthly series takes some daring, yet just the right amount of understated, steps in the right direction. It still is, and is going into social commentary without being overbearing. Impressive, to say the least. I have also stated that Ramon Bach's artwork, on the other hand seems out of sync with the story and where it is going. Curiously it also still is. Perhaps it will grow on the readers, but I doubt it. Fabian Nicieza's story, excellent. Bach's artwork, misplaced.
Azrael Vol. 2 #3 - Released Dec 16 2009 | 23 Pages | 30.1 MB What if God's justice means taking out one of your own brothers? Can Azrael turn a blind eye toward sins committed during a time of war? And what if those sins come home to roost in Gotham City? Too many questions, and the answers are enough to drive Michael Lane crazy... Azrael vol. 2 #4 - Released Jan 20 2010 | 23 Pages | 13.9 MB Guest-starring Batman! A murder weapon that could shatter Michael Lane's life. Azrael's sword of justice turned against the woman he loves. A Dark Knight forced to protect a murderer. If the truth is a lie, what do Batman and Azrael do when justice demands a killer go unpunished? --
