It was compiled and released after a lengthy lawsuit, which resulted in the rights to the Dead Kennedys' catalog being transferred from lead singer/songwriter Jello Biafra's record label, Alternative Tentacles to the other three members of the band. The album is not one consecutive concert, but rather tracks culled from various performances in 1982 and 1986.

Bad Religion - Generator (1992)
FLAC+CUE+LOG or MP3 CBR 320 | All Scans included | 285 or 130 MB
Original North American pressing | Epitaph Records # E-86416-2

When Bad Religion issued GENERATOR in 1992, the alternative/punk scene had changed radically since the band started a decade earlier. The genre had become accepted by the mainstream--but this didn't stop the band from issuing one of their most controversial albums among fans. The quintet slowed down the tempo on GENERATOR a bit, but there's still plenty of aggression and venom to go around.

Bad Religion - Against The Grain (1990)
FLAC+CUE+LOG or MP3 CBR 320 | All Scans included | 289 or 109 MB
Original North American pressing | Epitaph Records # E-86409-2

For a period during late '80s and early '90s there was both good news and bad news for fans of punk stalwarts Bad Religion. The bad news was that the band kept putting out the same album over and over again; the good news was that the album was fantastic. AGAINST THE GRAIN, like its predecessors NO CONTROL and SUFFER, is arguably a Punk Rock masterpiece.

Bad Religion - No Control (1989)
FLAC+CUE+LOG or MP3 CBR 320 | All Scans included | 219 or 101 MB
Original North American pressing | Epitaph Records # E-86406-2

Without a doubt, 1989's NO CONTROL is one of Bad Religion's best releases. This was one of the albums that helped bridge the band's more reckless earlier direction with their more focused '90s-era.

Bad Religion - Suffer (1988)
FLAC+CUE+LOG or MP3 CBR 320 | All Scans included | 227 or 103 MB
Original North American pressing '1992 | Epitaph Records # E-86404-2

Along with such releases as NO CONTROL and AGAINST THE GRAIN, Bad Religion's 1988 release, SUFFER, is one of their finest. The band (which saw the original line-up reunite for the album's release) was improving and becoming more and more focused with each successive release, and SUFFER showed the band as one of the world's top thought-provoking punk outfits.

Dead Kennedys - Frankenchrist (1985) [ORG & SHM-CD]
FLAC+CUE+LOG or MP3 CBR 320 Kbps | Covers | 363/366 or 116 MB
Original CD Pressing '1993 + Japanese SHM-CD '2008

Frankenchrist is the third album released by the American hardcore punk band Dead Kennedys in 1985. The album is an example of the progressive, psychedelic side of the Kennedys' musical personality. The spaghetti western soundtrack influence is also noticeable in the horn parts and in East Bay Ray's atmospheric guitar work. Frankenchrist is noted for its relative lack of traditionally 'hardcore' material. Most of the songs are slower and longer than the majority of other Dead Kennedys songs. "M.T.V. − Get off the Air" is notable for its pointed slam of the music establishment and "Stars and Stripes of Corruption" for its exegesis of Biafra's political philosophies.

Bad Religion - 80-85 (1991)
FLAC+CUE+LOG or MP3 CBR 320 | All Covers | 402 or 124 MB
Original US pressing / Original Recordings Reissued / Epitaph Records

80-85 contains Bad Religion's first full-length album, HOW COULD HELL BE ANY WORSE?..., their first EP, and additional rare material. Bad Religion: Greg Graffin (vocals); Mr. Brett, Greg Hetson (guitar); Jay Bentley, Tim Gallegos (bass); Pete Finestone (drums). Principally recorded in Los Angeles, California between 1980 and 1985. For newest Punk-Rock fans, this compilation 80-85 is highly recommended... As expected, the songs are a lot rawer than their later releases, but a lot of the same musical elements that would be perfected in the 1990s by the band (biting social commentary, melodic twists and turns) are present. Some fans consider this era "the Real Bad Religion", as evidenced by such tracks as "Yesterday", "New Leaf", "Along the Way", and "Bad Religion".
